echoes

Echoes is an ongoing portrait series inspired by the emotional language of classical art.

Each portrait draws from a different atmosphere and symbolism of old-world paintings. Symbolic elements recur throughout the series—movement, fabric, flowers, light, reflection, nature, and the frame—forming a visual language of memory, transformation, longing, and connection.

These portraits are not recreations of the past. They are echoes of it.

Each woman brings something of herself into the character, and in that space between imagination and reality, the story becomes her own.
